LAN War Last-minute Update! email to someone | printer friendly
HEAR YE HEAR YE

We have confirmed as of today that we are indeed capable of hosting up to 200 guests at LAN War XV! This may come as a bit of a frustration for all of our friends on the walk-in/waitlist, but I think it's great news, personally. We are going to pack the house, so if you were skeptical or have decided not to come because of numbers, fear not! We will take you if you come.

However, please bring one ethernet cable with you to the event. We have found that our supply of cables has diminished much more than we had anticipated, so we will need the cooperation of our walk-in guests to make sure this event runs smoothly!

Also, the attendance fee is . Please bring exact change as best you can, because we will not be able to change everyone's 20 dollar bills.

Thanks for your help and support, and SEE YOU TOMORROW!

25 Seats Added! email to someone | printer friendly
Yes! You read correctly! Upon figuring out the logistics of the LANWar, we discovered that not only do we have room for, we also have power, internet, tables, and chairs for TWO HUNDRED GAMERS. Yes, thanks to the hard work of many talented officers and friends here at the gaming club, we can accommodate 25 more lucky gamers. If you've been discouraged from coming or are planning on coming absurdly early to assure your seat, relax. Odds are good that you'll get in.

Again, a big thanks to everyone who helped set up, we couldn't have done it without you!

...More like LAN-"Everybody wants in"-War XV email to someone | printer friendly

Attention all gamers!

As many of you have already realized, registration for this semester's LANWar has come to a TEMPORARY halt. If you still want to get in on the biggest Swag 'n' Frag - Fest this side of Fee lane, don't give up yet. We have yet to hit our maximum capacity but require a bit of time to sort out the situation.

What this means if you're currently a walk-in: Because we're not a bunch of people who go around pooping on the proverbial parade, we'll be contacting you shortly with more information on what you need to do if you want to guarantee your spot at LANWarXV.

What this means if you're currently unregistered: Many of you have been sending PMs asking about registration. Once we have re-opened registration (which should be happening soon) you will be PMed on the forums to alert you that you can register. Please be prepared with your PayPal info to complete the process and guarantee your spot. If you have not PMed an admin, DON'T! There's a Waiting Line thread on the forums that is under IUCGC LAN WAR. Make a post there and you, too, will receive a PM when registration resumes.

Thank you all for your patience.

Registration for LWXV is OPEN! email to someone | printer friendly
Better act fast--these 150 seats are not going to last long! You can register using the link above called "LAN War!" If you can't meet the requirement but still plan on coming by paying at the door, you can let us know using that option during registration! We have to note, however, that this does not reserve you a spot; only registering using PayPal reserves you a seat.

More details on the event, including the featured events will follow shortly.

So clear your calendars now and join us for more gratuitous fragging than you can shake a boomstick at.

Greetings, gamers!

I'll keep it brief, since I sent out an e-mail containing this information, but in any event!

Console Chaos is the new event that will be an all-console competition. Tournaments featured in the areas of Smash Bros. Brawl, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, and MANY more. This event will now take the place of the LAN War, on March 29-30th in the same location as the LAN War, Briscoe's SAR.
